The band was first formed in 1992. Turtles Jr. is considered to be the driving force for other bands to start with punk in their city. Keparat Music Group, for example, claimed to be formed due to the influence of Turtles Jr. 5 years after forming, they then released their first album titled Die My Girl. The release of this album was then followed by the publication of other albums such as This Is F... System (1998), Restart the Punk (2009), Murder (2012), Rebellion and The Best of (2015).[2] In early 2018 they toured several islands namely Bali, Malaysia, North Sumatra, and Thailand. Last year they released their latest album entitled Spread The Noise under Disaster Records.
